A little bit of everything

BENEFIT: Watt's Up! Highlighter | Review

I have been slowly getting into the highlight trend, and I know i'm a bit late to join but, better late than never right? Ever since then I have been on the look out for a somewhat decent highlighter that would look natural but yet give me that beautiful glow. Fortunately for me while I was on holiday in the Netherlands whilst shopping I ran into the benefit counter and had a couple of swatches. I was skeptical at first about buying it considering it was a bit on the pricey side, since I am a student. But you know what they say ''You lose some you win some'' And I couldn't be happier.

I have a warm, medium skin tone and it gave me exactly what I wanted; A natural glow, yet making me look like the bomb dot com highlighter. So here I am to tell you why I love this product so much and what I don't like so much (If there is even anything I don't like ;)).

When you first buy the product, it comes in this orange cardboard kind of box and inside it reveals the lovely product that will change your world (Can you tell how much I love this product?). There's two sides of it, on one of the sides is where the highlighter is and the other side is a sponge like thing that is suppose to help you blend. Now here is what I don't understand is what the sponge is suppose to do since it doesn't blend well at all, or then I'm doing something wrong. I find it to be taking off the product instead of helping it blend. Someone help a sister out!! Instead of using the sponge I use my fingers the old fashioned way and still works like a charm.

As you can see from my swatch it's a golden, bronze type of colour which goes perfectly for people with my skin tone or any skin tone really. Watt's Up blends really well which is a HUGE plus since there is a lot of cream products out there that is crap at blending. Now on to my favourite part of this product is that it's dewy and looks natural. Every time I apply this product on my face, my face has this absolutely beautiful glow to it. DAYUM THAT HIGHLIGHT THOUGH!

This product is also long-lasting, I have used this highlight pretty much everyday of my life ever since I laid hands on it and let me tell you it sticks to your face all day. Of course it might not be as noticeable as when you first put it on, but it will still be there at the end of the day.

For the people who prefer a more ''out there'' kind of highlight, it is buildable so this shouldn't be a problem if you're scared of it being too subtle for you. I myself also love to just stack on tons of highlight on a night out. Whether your going for a natural or a more ''out there'' look or even both, this highlight could be the one for you!

What is your favourite highlighter?

xoxo ~
