A little bit of everything

Empties #1

Here are some of my beauty + skin care products I have emptied, that I have managed not to accidentally throw away yet. Unfortunately I would have more to show you but they are somewhere far... far away in trash land...

I always love to read what other people have emptied out, something about the satisfaction of using something totally up is where I'm at. My goal is to one day totally finish using an eraser (In my dreams maybe) or lip balm. Does anyone else just constantly buy new lip balm all the time? Even though you still have like 5 other lip balms you haven't used up yet.

#TheStruggleIsReal

I would also like to apologise in advance on how wrecked my lush pot looks, laziness took over me so.... FORGIVE ME.

First off I would like to mention L'Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. As you can see there's two of them in the picture but in reality I had 4 of the same empty mascara's. This has been hands down my most precious mascara I have ever tried. There were days when I was thinking to myself ''I should try new things... NAH'' and I always end up going back to buying this over and over again.

Still continuing in the mascara theme is Rimmel London ScandalEyes Mascara that I didn't exactly emptied but it just dried out after a while of not using it. It did the job just like any other decent mascara's out there would, but I wasn't totally in love with it. Once you go L'Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara you never go back... you know what I mean? I guess I bought it just to try something new.

Now to skin care whoop whoop! I purchased Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Serum couple months ago and just recently got to finishing it. I didn't really read any review or anything before purchasing. It was on sale and Philosophy always had pretty positive reviews when it comes to their products so I thought.. What the heck let's just purchase this thing. On the first week I did notice some differences on my face but nothing major. After that first week I didn't really notice any changes at all, maybe made my face a tiny bit softer but that was all. It's a pass from me. Ridiculously expensive as well if I say so myself if it wasn't on sale.

Kiehl's... Oh Kiehl's... I read tons of reviews before purchasing Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser and the reviews were pretty good, but unfortunately It didn't really work out for me. I pretty much tried my best to make it work and empty it, which in the end I did use it all up for the sake of it. I have pretty decent amount of acne on my face which I am still trying to recover from, and reading from the reviews this should have helped my acne but instead it didn't do anything for me.

Now time for some positive comments about one of my favourite cleanser Lush Let The Good Times Roll Cleanser. A friend of mine had this in her bathroom while I was staying over and she let me try it . Now Let me tell you what my first impressions were on this product... ''Holy moly this smells good!... Wow... It's so soft'' I think those were my exact words. Basically! What I'm trying to say is why are you still here? shouldn't you be on your way to the closest Lush shop and pick one up?

Have you tried any of these products?

  3. Great post Jasmine. I was a huge fan of Rimmel ScandalEyes too, but I haven't used it in a while. Think it needs to go back on my list! Lots of love, Helen xx
